Produced between 2006 and 2012 (2007 – 2013 model years) the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a grand touring automobile named after its total engine cubic inch displacement, a popular test track used by Ferrari and its Gran Turismo Berlinetta design. Commonly called the Ferrari 599, the car made its debut at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. It succeeded the Ferrari 575M Maranello and yielded to the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.

The Ferrari 599 is a two-seater with a front-mounted engine and outstanding aerodynamic capabilities.

With a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine, the Ferrari 599 could produce 612hp between 7,600 and 8,400 RPM. At the start of Ferrari 599 production, it was the most powerful Ferrari road car and one of the few automobiles capable of producing 100hp per liter of engine displacement without the benefit of forced air induction. Pretty impressive, huh?
