ROLLS ROYCE WRAITH

Introduced during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the modern Rolls-Royce Wraith is a luxury grand touring hardtop coupe. Deliveries of the ultra-elegant Rolls-Royce Wraith began in late 2013 – as a 2014 model. It remains in production at the time of this article in 2020. The Wraith moniker pays homage to the 1938-1939 Rolls-Royce Wraith, the Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith (1946-1958) and the Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith II (1975-1980).

The word Wraith can be traced back to its Scottish roots. The modern Rolls-Royce Wraith fits the pattern of Rolls-Royce models representing something that, despite being graciously elegant and highly sought after, is also stealthy and quiet.

The 2-door hardtop design of the modern Rolls-Royce Wraith was made popular in the stunning American cars of the 1950s and 1960s. With no center pillar, the windows seem to disappear when all-four are rolled down. Unique suicide (or coach) doors add to the distinctive style of the Rolls-Royce Wraith; making it a sight that you will never forget. The Rolls-Royce Wraith is powered by a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 that can produce 623hp and 590 lb.-ft. of torque. The Rolls-Royce Black Badge upgrades engine performance to 623hp and 642 lb.-ft. of torque. Both versions of the Rolls-Royce Wraith are equipped with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
