McLaren 650S Service, Repair & Modification

The engine for the McLaren 650S was the same M838T twin-turbocharged V8 found in the previous model (MP4-12C) with several key enhancements. New pistons were outfitted to the twin-turbo 3.8-liter engine. The cylinder heads were redesigned to be more free-flowing. They had upgraded exhaust valves and the camshaft timing strategy was modified. The exhaust system was less restrictive and weighed less than the one in the 12C. The result? How about 641hp and 500 lb.-ft. of torque? Redline RPM was also stretched to a screeching 8,500 RPM. The transmission was a 7-speed dual-clutch; recalibrated for even quicker shifting.

The McLaren 650S could accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.0-seconds and had an electronically controlled top speed of 207 mph.
Derived from the McLaren F1 Racing Program, the McLaren 650S uses Proactive Chassis Control (PCC), aluminum forged wheels, and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires to straighten the curves and flatten the hills. Everything about this car is designed with performance in mind.

McLaren Scheduled Maintenance & Tuning

Designed and manufactured in Great Britain, the McLaren 650S is built around a space-age carbon-fiber monocoque body with aluminum subframes on each end. The name of the car is simple.

Representing approximate engine output is the 650 and the S stands for Sport. Other relevant models of the McLaren 650S include the convertible McLaren 650S Spyder, the McLaren MSO 650S, the McLaren 625C, the McLaren 650S Le Mans, and the McLaren 650S Can-Am. Introduced during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the McLaren 650S was produced from 2014 through 2017.

When it comes to factory scheduled maintenance, a tune-up, wheel alignment, brake service, engine repair, transmission replacement/repair, rear-end repair/replacement, steering /suspension repair, driveshaft service/replacement, engine cooling system repair, heating and air conditioning repair/maintenance, an oil change, a transmission service/flush, a wheel and tire rotation/replacement or virtually any other maintenance and repair work for your McLaren 650S, Forza gets it done even better than the dealership.
